Eddy Senior Living invites you to join us as we welcome Elizabeth Malloy and Mary Bowen to Glen Eddy in Troy NY on Friday, May 20, 2016. Join us from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm as Elizabeth and Mary give an informative presentation on the topic of diagnostic testing technology.
In today’s modern world, technology is constantly changing and evolving. These advancements and improvements in technology can especially be seen in the field of diagnostic testing. During Mary and Elizabeth’s presentation, attendees will learn more about these advancements and how they’ve improved diagnostic testing. Attendees will also learn which tests they should have done regularly.
More About Mary Bowen
Presenter Mary Bowen, RN, MSN, OCN, CBCN, began her career at St Peter’s 38 years ago, as a Registered Nurse. During her tenure at St. Peter’s, Mary has worked in many different areas including ICU, Labor and Delivery, Ambulatory Surgery and Hospice. She left St. Peter’s for 13 years to work in Oncology at a private practice, but returned to SPHP 2 years ago after completing a Master’s Degree in Nursing along with certifications in Oncology and Breast Care. Mary is currently a Breast Nurse Navigator and also works as an adjunct nursing instructor at Empire State College.
Mary is married, has 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren that she absolutely adores! In her free time, she loves to travel, bicycle, and kayak.
More About Elizabeth Malloy
Presenter Elizabeth Malloy CRA, MSEd, RDMS, CT, RTR, Director Medical Imaging ACA , has been with St. Peter’s since 2003, and is currently the Manager for Breast Imaging and the Acting Medical Director of Imaging at Albany Acute Care. Prior to her current role, Elizabeth was the Supervisor for the Breast Imaging Center and Washington Avenue Mammo in Medical Imaging at St. Peter’s Hospital and before that served as the Lead Ultrasonographer in the Medical Imaging-Breast Center at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Elizabeth started her career as the Weekend Supervisor for Medical Imaging at North Adams Regional hospital in North Adams, MA and from there went on to serve as an Education Coordinator/Sonographer at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vermont. She then went to North Adams Region Hospital and served as a Sonographer/Multispecialty Technologist. After that, Elizabeth was a Clinical Sales Specialist with Siemens Medical Solutions before joining St. Peter’s.
