The Glen at Hiland Meadows Board of Directors held its annual President’s Award Luncheon on June 11^th. This year The Glen was pleased to host more than 70 local guests including local business and healthcare leaders, politicians, employees, and resident council members. Guests were treated to distinguished speaker Dan Sisto, Chairman of the North Country Health Systems Redesign Commission, who presented on the Future of Health care in the North Country. The event also recognizes an exceptional individual or group who has shown a propensity to make significant and meaningful contributions to improving the quality of life of seniors within The Glen and the local community. The Annual President’s Award is designed as a tribute to the efforts of those individuals who have shown leadership, compassion, dedication and enthusiasm through their actions. These unique persons stand as an example to us all through their outstanding service to others. This year’s recipient was the Bay Ridge Fire Department.
